Description of Test
Concrete is sampled in accordance with ASTM C 172. Concrete is placed into air pressure meter in three equal lifts, each lift is rodded 25 times. The air meter is carefully closed and sealed. A known pressure is then suddenly applied to the concrete, and the corresponding air content is read off the dial.
