Description of Test
This test method describes destructive quality control and quality assurance tests used to determine the integrity of geomembrane seams produced by chemical-fusion methods. Samples are cured (either standard or accelerated) prior to testing. Specimens are tested in a tensile machine for peel strength (five specimens) and shear strength (five specimens). The peak strength and failure modes are reported.
